Then, of course, he back flipped into the harbor. We love you Travis. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
With just a few hours until Red Bull: New Year. No Limits goes live on ESPN, Travis is seeing the final setup of his takeoff and landing for the first time.
And he couldn't stop himself from making just one last run up to the takeoff. This is as close of a look as you'll get before seeing the jump live on New Year's Eve.

Take a look at the Subaru Travis will be sending into the air on New Year's Eve. It's an impressive example of both ground and airborne vehicular performance.
And in the same way we've prepped the car to perform at it's absolute best, the Long Beach Fire Department is also preparing for anything to go wrong, including the possibility that Travis ends up in the water.

As part of the Red Bull Stumps, Clump and Jumps tour, riders Paul Basagoitia, Brandon Semenuk, Wayne Goss, Robbie Bourdon, and brothers Andreau and Lluis Lacondeguy had their vision brought to life. After loading 1800 cubic yards of dirt onto a 290-foot long barge, builders took over a week to shape the jumps and build the scaffolding so that the riders could backflip, tailwhip, and barspin their way into the history books.
The athletes were filming on the barge as part of an upcoming segment in the New World Disorder mountain biking video titled DUST & BONES, releasing October 1st.
