We are glad to bring some new features to Face Plant and I'll explain a little bit about them here in this article.

First... YouTube

This new feature to Face Plant means that both news articles and personal blogs can and will have media included in them. To embed video from websites like Youtube and Metacafe just get the code from those sites associated with the video you want to include.

Then add that code into the YouTube box you will see when you are writing your blog. You can add multiple videos to your blog, just paste code for each video one after the other and voila!

Second... Twitter

Yep, you can now show your Twitter status right on your profile page. If you have no Twitter feed on your Face Plant account then nothing will show.

To add Twitter to your profile then follow the little guide below:

• Go to http://twitter.com/badges
• Login to Twitter
• Select OTHER from the list of badges you can select from
• Select either Flash or HTML (both work on Face Plant)
• Pick your settings to make your feed look like you want it to
• Copy the code they provide
• Login to Face Plant
• Go to http://www.face-plant.co.uk/profile_customize.php
• At the bottom of the page you will see a box called Embed Twitter
• Paste the code you got from Twitter into the box
• Click Save

Twitter will now appear on your Profile page. To see what the Flash feed looks like take a look at: http://www.face-plant.co.uk/Bazajaytee this is a Flash badge with WIDE setting selected. We recommend using Slim or Wide settings with the flash badge. The full badge will make your profile look odd.
